We automatically place your test projects in our schedule when there are openings. Once we receive your test samples we start testing. Based on our business model, our lead times are among the most competitive in the industry. We don’t require advanced lead times. In fact, we can predict your testing lead-time from the initial sales inquiry. It is a common belief that EMC test laboratory staff are highly skilled in running test equipment but not as designers.
We don’t believe this to be the case for everyone in the field. However, many of our clients have experienced difficulties with test laboratories that do not have the right technical and design backgrounds in order to get their devices ready for testing. If you are battery testing lab evaluating an EMC testing lab, ask them about the latest designs and when the last time they laid out PCBs. You may be surprised by what you hear. This is not a common situation for any lab to be able help with a firmware or design capacity with your device.
Working with us is a great way to differentiate yourself from other companies. We are product designers first and foremost. We have worked on many different types of wireless products and consumer products. We’ve seen almost every kind of EMC, firmware, or production issue. Many labs assume you know how to prepare your devices for testing. If you need any assistance, they will just tell you to call the manufacturer. Although we love our semiconductor companies of choice, it’s not something we want to do.
One of the many benefits we offer our clients is our ability to rely on our experienced designers to work in your engineering languages and tools to get your device’s hardware and firmware ready to go for testing. Most labs can’t provide this level support, and most don’t offer that support at all for the same fixed price as our standard project approach.
You can trust us to help get your product ready for testing. We will also perform the preparation work necessary before formal EMC testing begins. You’ll notice that traditional EMC labs that specialize in FCC testing may not have the ability to do all safety testing required for your product as products become more complicated and wireless.
This can dramatically increase lead times and increase the possibility of delays because your product samples will be shipped to multiple test facilities that are experts in each area. You will experience delays due to testing and your overall project costs will rise if testing is done at multiple facilities.
We are able to identify the best accredited EMC test lab for your project, who has all the capabilities needed to fulfill your specific testing requirements. It is extremely rare that we don’t have the capabilities required to test your project in a one stop shop scenario. (Usually, this only happens in highly complex global certification scenarios involving smaller countries approvals).
You will be able to test your project in one place and all the departments involved in it. Testing will go smoothly, and it will be done in an optimal way.
